DAY 1

Depart from your gateway airport

Arrive in Quebec city. Meet your Landmark tour manager and motorcoach

Arrive at Societé des Traverses in Lévis and meet you Tour Managers. Board the ferry to Québec City, the cradle of French civilization in North America. 

Take the funiculaire to the Upper Town and depart on a walking orientation tour that will introduce you to this beautiful city.

Check-In at Hotel Clarendon 

Dinner. Trois Garçons 

Your visit will begin with a walking orientation tour that will introduce you to the Historic Chateau Frontenac, the Terrasse Dufferin, and the beautiful Notre Dame de Quebec Cathedral.

DAY 2

Breakfast at les Mordus

Meet Bus in front of the Hotel and transfer to a tour the Morrin Centre, Quebec first public prison where you will be put in the shoes of a convict who was incarcerated ther.

9:30am – 

10:20am

Arrive at Morrin Center Quebec 

After your history lesson, board the bus for a brief city sightseeing tour that will end back in the Quartier Petit Champlain where you can have lunch on your own.

11:00 am

Visit the Musee du Fort

Here students will be immersed in the events of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, a pivotal battle that would determine the course of history of North America

Lunch and Free time to Explore Lower Town

Exploration Treasure Hunt in the Old Streets of the city

Tonight, enjoy an all you can eat dinner at an authentic French-Canadian Cabane à sucre, where you’ll spend the evening learning traditional dance and folk songs. The evening will end with a parting taste of maple syrup served on snow.

DAY 3

8:00am 

Breakfast at le Cochon Dingue 

8:00am 

Depart for the Beaupre coasts aboard your motorcoach

9:00am

Visit the Village Hurons Wendat where students will experience first hand the customs and traditions of the native culture of the Hurons.

11:00am 

This morning, learn where copper comes from, how it is extracted and fashions worldwide at the Albert Gilles Boutique et Musée.

11:30am 

Depart for a Visit to the Magnificent Basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. This gothic cathedral is renowned for its enormous proportions and superb stained-glass windows. 

Visit the Canyon Ste-Anne to cross this lovely gorge on a suspension bridge

Then visit Montmorency Falls, where you will walk over a footbridge that passes directly over the 275 foot-high falls.

DAY 4

8:00am 

Breakfast at le Cafe Buade or La Buche

9:00am 

Walk to the Plains of Abraham for a visit to the unique stone fortification that was erected in the mid-nineteenth century to protect Quebec City, followed by an interactive lesson about military strategy of the era at the Martello Tower 

In the heart of Québec: the Battlefields Park

Lunch on your own in Upper Town

1:00pm 

Return to Upper Town, free time to explore the shops
